SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $500,000 to the Department of Transportation for the purpose of granting the sum to the City of Chicago to construct concrete-protected bike lanes. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $500,000, or so much of that sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Transportation for the purpose of granting the sum to the City of Chicago to construct concrete-protected bike lanes.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2023.
