SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $750,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for grants to fund a psychomotor skill-based cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training program for all public schools and to cover the costs of required CPR training in high schools. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $750,000, or so much of that sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for grants to fund a psychomotor skill-based cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training program for all public schools and to cover the costs of required CPR training in high schools.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2023.
