SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $3,500,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the Cook County Board of Review for costs associated with technology enhancements and modernization of the county’s tax appeals system. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $3,500,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the Cook County Board of Review for costs associated with technology enhancements and modernization of the county’s tax appeals system.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2023.
