| 4 | | "Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the U.S. |
| 5 | | Military Highways Designations Act.

| 6 | | Section 5. U.S. Marine Corps Highway "Semper Fidelis" |
| 7 | | designation. The portion of Interstate Route 80 of the |
| 8 | | National System of Interstate and Defense Highways within the |
| 9 | | State of Illinois, from mile marker 26 to mile marker 51, is |
| 10 | | designated as the U.S. Marine Corps Highway "Semper Fidelis" |
| 11 | | to honor and mark the 250th Anniversary of the United States |
| 12 | | Marine Corps. |
| 13 | | Appropriate plaques may be erected by the Department of |
| 14 | | Transportation along Interstate 80 and in rest areas along |
| 15 | | this route in recognition of the designation.". |
