| 1 | | AN ACT concerning abortion.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Reproductive Health Act is amended by |
| 5 | | adding Section 1-21 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (775 ILCS 55/1-21 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 1-21. Mobile abortion services prohibited. |
| 8 | | (a) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no person |
| 9 | | shall open, conduct, or maintain a facility in which mobile |
| 10 | | abortion services are performed, including services to |
| 11 | | terminate a pregnancy or to manage pregnancy loss, regardless |
| 12 | | of whether the abortion services are medical or surgical in |
| 13 | | nature. |
| 14 | | (b) As used in this Section, "mobile abortion services" |
| 15 | | means any abortion-related services provided in a moveable |
| 16 | | vehicle or nonpermanent clinic. |
