| | | Amends the Medical Assistance Article of the Illinois Public Aid Code. Provides that beginning January 1, 2025, the Department of Children and Family Services shall reimburse Children's Community-Based Health Care Centers at the lower of the Children's Community-Based Health Care Center's usual and customary charge to the public or at the Department rate of $1650 (rather than $950). Effective January 1, 2025. |

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 5-2.06 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (305 ILCS 5/5-2.06) |
| 7 | | Sec. 5-2.06. Payment rates; Children's Community-Based |
| 8 | | Health Care Centers. Beginning January 1, 2025 2020, the |
| 9 | | Department shall, for eligible individuals, reimburse |
| 10 | | Children's Community-Based Health Care Centers established in |
| 11 | | the Alternative Health Care Delivery Act and providing nursing |
| 12 | | care for the purpose of transitioning children from a hospital |
| 13 | | to home placement or other appropriate setting and reuniting |
| 14 | | families for a maximum of up to 120 days on a per diem basis at |
| 15 | | the lower of the Children's Community-Based Health Care |
| 16 | | Center's usual and customary charge to the public or at the |
| 17 | | Department rate of $1650 $950. Payments at the rate set forth |
| 18 | | in this Section are exempt from the 2.7% rate reduction |
| 19 | | required under Section 5-5e. |
