AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4926 

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4926 as follows:
 
3on page 1, by replacing line 22 with ""Reusable tenant 
4screening report" means a written report, prepared by a 
5consumer credit reporting agency, that"; and
 
6on page 2, line 1, by inserting ", but is not limited to," 
7after "includes"; and
 
8on page 2, line 6, by replacing "employment" with "source of 
9income"; and
 
10on page 3, line 4, by deleting "and"; and
 
11on page 3, line 6, by replacing "cost to access or use." with 
12the following:
13        "cost to access or use; and

1            (D) the report includes all of the criteria 
2        consistently being used by the landlord in the 
3        screening of prospective tenants."; and
 
4on page 3, after line 14, by inserting the following:
5    "(d) Nothing in this Section prohibits a landlord from 
6collecting and processing an application in addition to the 
7report provided, as long as the prospective tenant is not 
8charged an application screening fee for this additional 
9report.".
