AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5011 

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5011, AS AMENDED, 
3with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 
41, on page 3, immediately below line 2, by inserting the 
5following:
 
6    ""Annual financial report" means, for governmental unit 
7fiscal years 2026 and after, the statement filed in lieu of an 
8audit report containing information required by the 
9Comptroller on forms devised by the Comptroller in such manner 
10as to not require professional accounting services for its 
11preparation."; and
 
12on page 3, line 15, by replacing "unit that" with "unit, 
13which"; and
 
14on page 4, by replacing lines 3 through 14 with the following:

1    ""Report" includes, for governmental unit fiscal years 
2before fiscal year 2026, both audit reports and reports filed 
3instead of an audit report by a governmental unit receiving 
4revenue of less than $850,000 during any fiscal year to which 
5the reports relate."; and
 
6on page 8, lines 18 and 19, before "financial" each time it 
7appears, by inserting "annual".
