1 | | AN ACT concerning regulation. |
2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
3 | | represented in the General Assembly: |
4 | | Section 5. The Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation |
5 | | Act of 2013 is amended by changing Section 2-102.5 as follows: |
6 | | (210 ILCS 49/2-102.5) |
7 | | Sec. 2-102.5. Psychiatric visits. For the purposes of this |
8 | | Act, any required psychiatric visit to a consumer may be |
9 | | conducted by an APRN or by a physician. An APRN shall observe |
10 | | consumers and staff and their interactions at least weekly, |
11 | | and the psychiatric medical director shall be present at the |
12 | | facility at least monthly to review interactions and make |
13 | | necessary modifications. |
