AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5089 

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5089, on page 7, by 
3replacing lines 16 through 18 with the following:
4"implement policy.
5    On and after the effective date of this amendatory Act of 
6the 103rd General Assembly, "managerial employee" includes the 
7individual designated or appointed by a sheriff as the 
8undersheriff or chief deputy to fill a vacancy under Section 
93-3010 of the Counties Code and the individual serving as the 
10superintendent of the jail under Section 3 of the County Jail 
11Act, unless the sheriff and the relevant union have mutually 
12agreed otherwise or the individual is already otherwise 
13recognized under subsection (c) of Section 9 or any other 
14provision of this Act.
15     Nothing in this definition prohibits an individual from 
16also meeting the definition of "supervisor" under subsection 
17(r) of this Section."; and

2ordinances, personnel codes, or Division 2.1 of Article 10 of
