| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Pesticide Act is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 13.8 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (415 ILCS 60/13.8 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 13.8. Ban on sale and use of |
| 8 | | 3,6-dichloro-2-methoxybenzoic acid. Beginning on January 1, |
| 9 | | 2025, it shall be a violation of the Act to sell or use any |
| 10 | | product containing 3,6-dichloro-2-methoxybenzoic acid. |
