| 3 | | everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| 4 | | "Section 5. The Condominium Property Act is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 22.2 as follows:

| 6 | | (765 ILCS 605/22.2) |
| 7 | | Sec. 22.2. Resale approval. In the event of a sale of a |
| 8 | | condominium unit by a unit owner, no condominium association |
| 9 | | shall exercise any right of refusal, option to purchase, or |
| 10 | | right to disapprove the sale: , (a) on the basis that the |
| 11 | | purchaser's financing is guaranteed by the Federal Housing |
| 12 | | Administration; or (b) for a discriminatory or otherwise |
| 13 | | unlawful purpose. Any person aggrieved by a violation of this |
| 14 | | Section shall have a right of action in a State circuit court |
| 15 | | against the offending condominium association. |
