AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5544 

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5544 on page 210, 
3line 17, by replacing "either" with , or within 2 miles of,"; 
4and
 
5on page 210, line 18, by deleting "in"; and
 
6on page 211, line 24, by deleting "an"; and 
 
7on page 211, line 25, by inserting "an" after "in"; and
 
8on page 213, by replacing lines 22 through 26 with the 
9following:
10    "(g) The Agency shall identify in the long-term 
11procurement plan the regional transmission organization or 
12independent transmission system operator to which energy 
13storage systems shall be interconnected in order to be 
14eligible to participate in a procurement of energy storage

1resources. For procurements in the delivery year 2028 and 
2thereafter, the Agency's allocation of the total energy 
3storage capacity to be procured between or among regional 
4transmission organizations and independent system operators 
5shall be informed by the analysis described in subsection
