| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate McKenzie Pratt on the |
| 4 | | occasion of her being the first female state champion wrestler |
| 5 | | for Edwardsville High School; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, McKenzie Pratt has been wrestling since 2016 and |
| 7 | | has been competing in jujitsu and weight training since 2019; |
| 8 | | and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, McKenzie Pratt is a sophomore and has only had |
| 10 | | two losses in her high school wrestling career; she placed |
| 11 | | second in the previous state tournament; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, McKenzie Pratt has had many accomplishments |
| 13 | | within her high school career; she is the first female to win a |
| 14 | | state championship in wrestling this year and was the iCAN |
| 15 | | Clinic Female Athlete of the Month; therefore, be it
|
| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
| 17 | | HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 18 | | we congratulate McKenzie Pratt on her accomplishments in her |
| 19 | | high school wrestling career, and we wish her and her family |
| 20 | | the best of luck in their future endeavors; and be it further
