| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate the Bradley Braves men's |
| 4 | | basketball team on being named the Missouri Valley Conference |
| 5 | | regular season champions; and

| 6 | | WHEREAS, The Braves defeated the Drake Bulldogs 73 to 61 |
| 7 | | in front of a sold-out crowd at Carver Arena; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, The Braves' relentless pursuit of victory was |
| 9 | | realized under the impeccable leadership of Head Coach Brian |
| 10 | | Wardle; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, With a passionate home crowd of more than 10,000 |
| 12 | | loyal and newly energized fans, the Braves pressed, pushed, |
| 13 | | and pulled from the opening tip-off to the final buzzer, |
| 14 | | ultimately achieving one of the team's most memorable |
| 15 | | victories; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, The Braves, for the first time in 27 years, won 16 |
| 17 | | games in conference play, and they also tied for the most in |
| 18 | | program history; they worked hard and accomplished tremendous |
| 19 | | success; therefore, be it
