HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Goley Insulation on the 
4occasion of its 50th anniversary; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Goley Insulation, a family-owned business founded 
6in 1973, is a leading contractor based in Dupo specializing in 
7commercial and residential insulation installation solutions, 
8utilizing fiberglass, cellulose, mineral wool, and spray foam 
9insulation, as well as air sealing and energy testing 
10technology, to deliver energy efficiency, cost savings, and 
11comfort to its variety of customers throughout Illinois and 
12Missouri and increasingly in communities across the United 
13States; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Goley Insulation was established as the Southern 
15Illinois Insulation Company by Gene and Lillian Goley in the 
16basement of the family home, and they are the parents of the 
17current president, Dewayne Goley, and the grandparents of the 
18current manager, Joseph Goley; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Goley Insulation operates under the core values 
20of teamwork, respect, expertise, family, professionalism, hard 
21work, candor, and fun, and it prides itself on bringing 
22timeliness, service, and expertise to everything it does,

1remaining steadfast and consistently aiming to complete its 
2work right the first time, every time; and
 
3    WHEREAS, Goley Insulation is a proud member of the 
4Insulation Contractors Association of America (ICAA), the Home 
5Builders Association (HBA), and the U.S. Green Building 
6Council, and the company is also a founding member of the 
7National Insulation Contractors' Exchange (NICE), an 
8organization that has expanded to over 70 companies across the 
9country; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
11HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
12we congratulate Goley Insulation on achieving 50 years in 
13business and wish the company continued success for many years 
14to come; and be it further
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
16presented to Goley Insulation as an expression of our esteem 
17and respect.
