HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Eric 
4Mason Payne of Morton Grove, who passed away on August 11, 
52023; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Eric Payne was born on April 24, 1984; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Eric Payne was known for being full of life, a Sox 
8fan, and a goofy dad; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Eric Payne was the husband of Jaclyn Jennetten 
10and the father of Leah "Liam" and Olivia; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Eric Payne was the son of Susan (Mason) and the 
12late Richard R. Payne and the brother of Jason, Angela, and 
13Elizabeth (Jaime Valle) Payne; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Eric Payne was the grandson of Betty (Benson) 
15Payne and the late Richard D. Payne and the late Jack and 
16Darlene (McCabe) Mason; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Eric Payne was the uncle of Arianna, Elena, Ada, 
18and Xavier; and

1    WHEREAS, Eric Payne was the son-in-law of David Jennetten 
2and Gail Trippi and the brother-in-law of Kevin and Sara 
3Jennetten; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Eric Payne was the nephew, cousin, and friend of 
5many; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
7HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
8we mourn the passing of Eric Mason Payne and extend our sincere 
9condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved 
10him; and be it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12presented to the family of Eric Payne as an expression of our 
13deepest sympathy.
