HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to recognize Stephon Howze on the 
4occasion of his placing as a finalist and the runner-up in the 
5kindergarten spelling bee at Ball Charter School; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Stephon Howze is the son of Shawnette Stelivan 
7and Shawntel Howze Sr. and the brother of two sisters, 
8Shawntiana Howze and Shaniya Howze, and two brothers, Torion 
9Howze and the late Shawntel Howze Jr.; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Stephon Howze is a member of Angela Koehler's 
11kindergarten class at Ball Charter School in Springfield; and
 
12    WHEREAS, At school, Stephon Howze's favorite subjects 
13include art and math, and he enjoys learning about the solar 
14system; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Outside of school, Stephon Howze enjoys doing 
16arts and crafts and science projects; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Stephon Howze has expressed interest in becoming 
18a doctor or a paleontologist when he gets older; therefore, be

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
2HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we recognize Stephon Howze on placing as a finalist and the 
4runner-up in the kindergarten spelling bee at Ball Charter 
5School, and we wish him continued success in his future 
6endeavors; and be it further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to Stephon Howze as an expression of our esteem and 
9respect.
