HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate the Illinois Area 
4Agencies on Aging on the occasion of its 50 years of service; 
5and
 
6    WHEREAS, The State of Illinois has a long and cherished 
7history of caring for its older adults while recognizing their 
8wisdom, experience, and contributions to our communities; and
 
9    WHEREAS, For five decades, the Illinois Area Agencies on 
10Aging have been unwavering advocates of our senior citizens, 
11providing vital support, guidance, and resources to help them 
12age well and maintain their independence; and
 
13    WHEREAS, The Illinois Area Agencies on Aging have been 
14both pillars of support for older adults and engines of 
15transformation, evolving and adapting to meet the 
16ever-changing needs of our aging population, ensuring that 
17they continue to lead lives of vitality, fulfillment, and 
18purpose; and
 
19    WHEREAS, The Illinois Area Agencies on Aging's 50-year 
20anniversary marks a half century of dedication, innovation, 
21and service provided by its 13 area agencies across our State;

1therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
3HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
4we congratulate the Illinois Area Agencies on Aging for its 50 
5years of service; and be it further
 
6    RESOLVED, That we encourage all Illinois residents to 
7recognize the invaluable contributions the Illinois Area 
8Agencies on Aging have made to our State's senior citizens.
