HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate the Illinois Soybean 
4Association on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of its 
5founding; and
 
6    WHEREAS, The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) has been a 
7vital part of the agricultural community for six decades; and
 
8    WHEREAS, The ISA was founded in 1964, with the goal of 
9promoting and advancing the interests of Illinois soybean 
10farmers; and
 
11    WHEREAS, The ISA has worked tirelessly to enhance the 
12soybean industry, to further innovation, and to support 
13sustainable farming practices in Illinois; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Over the past 60 years, the ISA has provided 
15crucial research, education, and advocacy, leading to the 
16growth and prosperity of the soybean industry within our 
17State; and
 
18    WHEREAS, The ISA's commitment to the well being of 
19farmers, environmental stewardship, and the economic health of 
20Illinois is commendable and deserving of recognition;

1therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
3HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
4we congratulate the Illinois Soybean Association on its 60th 
5anniversary and commend its extraordinary contributions to our 
6State's agricultural heritage; and be it further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the ISA as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
