HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Maurice 
4"Maury" Steiner; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Maury Steiner served in the military during the 
6Korean War; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Maury Steiner worked as a certified public 
8accountant; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Maury Steiner was a proud left-hander; he loved 
10the television show Kukla, Fran and Ollie, penguins, dogs, and 
11murder mysteries; he discovered traveling later in life and 
12enjoyed visiting many countries and continents with his wife; 
13he was an avid sports fan; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Maury Steiner was a devoted friend who maintained 
15lifelong friendships; he will be remembered as a nice man who 
16touched many hearts; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Maury Steiner was preceded in death by his 
18daughter, Suzanne; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Maury Steiner was the husband for 65 years of

1Donna (Lang) Steiner; the father of Barbara, Lynn, and Barry; 
2the grandfather to grandpets Josie and Phoenix; therefore, be 
3it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
5HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
6we mourn the passing of Maurice "Maury" Steiner and extend our 
7sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew 
8and loved him; and be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Maury Steiner as an expression of 
11our deepest sympathy.
