| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate Hadley Lake, a seventh |
| 4 | | grader at St. John the Evangelist School in Carrollton, on |
| 5 | | placing first in the discus throw at the 2024 Illinois |
| 6 | | Elementary School Association (IESA) Class 1A 7th Grade Girls |
| 7 | | State Track and Field Meet; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Hadley Lake placed first in the discus throw with |
| 9 | | a distance of 29.63 meters; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Hadley Lake additionally placed seventh in the |
| 11 | | shot put competition with a distance of 26 feet and 6.25 |
| 12 | | inches; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Hadley Lake also participated in the 4x200m |
| 14 | | relay, finishing in eighth place with a time of 2 minutes and |
| 15 | | 3.69 seconds; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Hadley Lake was led by Coach Kara Albrecht; |
