| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate Malin Camerer, a seventh |
| 4 | | grader at Jacksonville Middle School, on placing first in the |
| 5 | | discus throw at the 2024 Illinois Elementary School |
| 6 | | Association (IESA) Class 4A 7th Grade Girls State Track and |
| 7 | | Field Meet; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Malin Camerer won the discus throw with a |
| 9 | | distance of 92 feet and 5 inches, winning by an inch; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Malin Camerer also placed first in the shot put |
| 11 | | event with a distance of 31 feet and 5.75 inches, winning |
| 12 | | convincingly by a margin of 1 foot and 1.5 inches; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Malin Camerer is led by Coach Pat Kelly; |
| 14 | | therefore, be it

| 15 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
| 16 | | HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 17 | | we congratulate Malin Camerer on her accomplishments at the |
| 18 | | 2024 Illinois Elementary School Association (IESA) Class 4A |
| 19 | | 7th Grade Girls State Track and Field Meet, and we wish her |
