HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to recognize the Packee Family for their 
4contributions to the community and motorcycle culture; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Reiman's Harley-Davidson, a long-standing 
6business in Kewanee, has served the community for generations, 
7providing exceptional service and a passion for motorcycles; 
8and
 
9    WHEREAS, The Packee Family, which includes Dennis and 
10Scott Packee, has upheld the legacy of Reiman's 
11Harley-Davidson, founded by motorcycle champion Roger Reiman, 
12since 1997; and
 
13    WHEREAS, After years of dedication, the Packee Family is 
14selling Reiman's Harley-Davidson to Walter Brothers 
15Harley-Davidson, marking a significant transition; and
 
16    WHEREAS, This decision reflects a desire for the Packee 
17Family to embrace new opportunities, to spend time with loved 
18ones, and to enjoy well-deserved leisure; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
20HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that

1we recognize the Packee Family for their contributions to the 
2community and motorcycle culture, and we extend our best 
3wishes for their future endeavors; and be it further
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to the Packee Family as a symbol of our respect and 
6esteem.
