SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations to the Illinois Department of Transportation. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $5,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Department of Transportation for a grant to the Alexander-Cairo Port District for all costs associated with non-bondable development expenses of the Cairo Port.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
