AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 385

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 385 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:
 
4    "Section 5. The Eminent Domain Act is amended by adding 
5Section 25-5-130 as follows:
 
6    (735 ILCS 30/25-5-130 new)
7    Sec. 25-5-130. Quick-take; Springfield Public School 
8District No. 186. 
9    (a) Quick-take proceedings under Article 20 may be used 
10for a period of one year after the effective date of this 
11amendatory Act of the 103rd General Assembly by the Board of 
12Trustees of Springfield Public School District No. 186 in 
13Sangamon County for acquisition of the following described 
14properties for the purpose of expanding and redeveloping 
15Springfield High School, located at 101 South Lewis Street in 
16Springfield, Illinois:

2    Lots 6 and 7 in Block 5 of Thomas Lewis' Third Addition to

6Springfield, Illinois. 
7    PIN: 14-33.0-202-020 and 14-33.0-202-021 
 
8    (b) This Section is repealed 3 years after the effective 
9date of this amendatory Act of the 103rd General Assembly.".
 
10    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
11becoming law.".
