AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 386

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 386 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:
 
4    "Section 5. Upon the payment of the sum of $1.00 to the 
5Department of Military Affairs, and subject to the conditions 
6set forth in Section 10 of this Act, the Adjutant General of 
7Illinois is authorized to convey by quitclaim deed all right, 
8title, and interest in and to the following described parcel 
9of land in Cook County, Illinois, to the City of Chicago:
 
10    the Midway Flight Facility at 5400 W. 63rd Street, 
11    Chicago, Illinois 60638
 
12    Section 10. The conveyance of real property authorized by 
13Section 5 shall be made subject to: (1) existing public 
14utilities, existing public roads, and any and all 
15reservations, easements, encumbrances, covenants and

1restrictions of record; and (2) the express condition that if 
2said real property ceases to be used as a police district 
3building, it shall revert to the State of Illinois, Department 
4of Military Affairs.
 
5    Section 15. The Adjutant General of Illinois shall obtain 
6a certified copy of the portions of this Act containing the 
7title, the enacting clause, the effective date, the 
8appropriate Section containing the land description of the 
9property to be conveyed, and this Section within 60 days after 
10its effective date and, upon receipt of the payment required 
11by the Section, shall record the certified document in the 
12Recorder's Office in the county in which the land is located.
 
13    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
14becoming law.".
