| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 684 by replacing |
| 3 | | line 5 on page 2 through line 1 on page 3 with the following: |
| 4 | | "(c) The Board of Commissioners of the Central Illinois |
| 5 | | Regional Airport Authority shall consist of 7 members |
| 6 | | appointed by the McLean County Board chairperson, with the |
| 7 | | advice and consent of the McLean County Board, with the |
| 8 | | initial terms determined by lot as follows: 2 commissioners |
| 9 | | appointed for a 3-year term; 2 commissioners appointed for a |
| 10 | | 4-year term; and 3 commissioners appointed for a 5-year term. |
| 11 | | Their successors shall be appointed for 5-year terms. Of the |
| 12 | | commissioners appointed, 2 commissioners shall reside in the |
| 13 | | City of Bloomington, 2 commissioners shall reside in the Town |
| 14 | | of Normal, 2 commissioners shall reside in rural |
| 15 | | municipalities with a population less than 5,000, and one |
| 16 | | commissioner shall reside in an unincorporated area of McLean |
| 17 | | County.".
