AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1068 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1068 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 
4    "Section 5. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, 
5the Director of the Department of Natural Resources, on behalf 
6of the State of Illinois and the Department of Natural 
7Resources, is authorized to  execute and deliver to Two Rivers 
8Fisheries for and in consideration of the appraised value as 
9determined by a Certified General Appraiser, paid to 
10Department for deposit into the Park and Conservation Fund, a 
11quitclaim deed, conveying all right, title, and interest of 
12the State of Illinois and the Department of Natural Resources 
13in and to the following real property, situated in the County 
14of Alexander and described as follows:

 
15    A part of the of Section 31, Township 17 South, Range 1 
16    East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Alexander County,

1    State of Illinois more particularly described as follows: 
2    Commencing at the intersection of the State line of 
3    Illinois/Kentucky and the existing southerly right of way 
4    line of US ROUTE 60 & 62, located 50.00 feet southeasterly 
5    of the located centerline of US ROUTE 60 & 62 at station 
6    13+38.50; thence South 41 degrees 07 minutes 43 seconds 
7    West along the existing southerly right of way line a 
8    distance of 843.23 feet to a point located 50.00 feet 
9    southeasterly of said centerline at station 4+95.27;

1    The above-described tract contains 0.73 acres (31,740 Sq. 
2    Ft.) more or less. The basis of the bearings in this 
3    description is the Illinois State Plane Coordinate System. 
4    All distances as measured from the located centerline of 
5    SBI ROUTE 150 (US ROUTE 51) and US ROUTE 60 & 62 are 
6    measured normal to said centerline.

 
7    Section 10. The conveyance of real property authorized by 
8Section 5 shall be made subject to existing public utilities, 
9existing public roads, and any and all reservations, 
10easements, encumbrances, covenants, and restrictions of 
11record.
 
12    Section 15. Within 60 days after the effective date of 
13this Act, the Director of Natural Resources shall obtain a 
14certified copy of this Act and, upon receipt of the payment 
15required by this Act, shall ensure that the certified copy of 
16the portions of this Act named by this Section and the 
17quitclaim deed conveying the land are provided to Two Rivers 
18Fisheries, to be recorded in the Recorder's Office in the 
19county in which the land is located.
 

20    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
21becoming law.".
