SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates the sum of $1,250,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the City of Wheaton. Effective immediately.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5.  The sum of $1,250,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the City of Wheaton for all costs associated with infrastructure improvements, including but not limited to the addition of a pedestrian crosswalk near St. Francis High School, and roadway improvements near 101 Fapp Circle.

 

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2024.
