SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

Authorizes the Department of Transportation to execute and deliver a quit claim deed to specified land to the Countryside Fire Protection District for $1, subject to certain conditions. Effective immediately.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning property.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. Upon the payment of the sum of $1 to the State of Illinois, and subject to the conditions set forth in this Act, the Department of Transportation, on behalf of the State of Illinois, is authorized to execute and deliver to the Countryside Fire Protection District a quit claim deed to 26780 N IL ROUTE 83 LONG GROVE 60047 (EX E 663.77FT S 393.71FT) SW1/4 NW1/4 36-44-10.

Section 10. The conveyance of real property authorized by Section 5 shall be made subject to existing public utilities, existing public roads, and any and all reservations, easements, encumbrances, covenants, and restrictions of record.

Section 15. The Department of Transportation shall obtain a certified copy of the portions of this Act within 60 days after its effective date and, upon receipt of the payment required by Section 5, if any payment is required, shall record the certified document in the Recorder's Office in the County in which the land is located.

Section 20. This property shall be used for the purpose of designing and constructing a multi-discipline, regional public safety training facility that would benefit first responders and communities throughout Northern Illinois. If the real property is used for any other purposes, or if an attempt is made to sell the property, then the title shall revert without further action to the State of Illinois, Department of Transportation.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
