| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3089 on page 5, by |
| 3 | | replacing lines 8 through 17 with the following: |
| 4 | | "(a) If a scratch-off game is discontinued pursuant to |
| 5 | | Section 21.4, then the Department shall offer a special |
| 6 | | instant scratch-off game for the benefit of the Juvenile |
| 7 | | Diabetes Research Foundation, Illinois Chapter, for type 1 |
| 8 | | diabetes research, support, education, and awareness. The game |
| 9 | | shall commence as soon practical after the discontinuation, at |
| 10 | | the discretion of the Director, and shall operate for 5 years. |
| 11 | | The operation of the game shall be governed by this Law and any |
| 12 | | rules adopted by the Department.". |
