SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $10,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Agency for grants to Community Resource Healing Centers (CHRC)for their operational expenses. Effective July 1, 2024.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $10,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority for grants to Community Healing Resource Centers (CHRC) for their operational expenses.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2024.
