| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3268, AS AMENDED, |
| 3 | | with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. |
| 4 | | 2, on page 40, immediately below line 8, by inserting the |
| 5 | | following: |
| 6 | | "(b-5) Subject to federal approval, beginning January 1, |
| 7 | | 2025, Medicaid rates for supportive living services must be at |
| 8 | | least 54.75% of the average total nursing services per diem |
| 9 | | rate for the geographic areas defined by the Department and |
| 10 | | shall include all add-ons for nursing facilities for the |
| 11 | | geographic area provided for in Section 5-5.2."; and

| 12 | | on page 145, line 9, after "room.", by inserting "Beginning |
| 13 | | January 1, 2025, for improving the quality of life and the |
| 14 | | quality of care, a payment of no less than $8.75 per day, per |
| 15 | | dual-occupancy room shall be added to the existing $14.50 |
| 16 | | additional per day, per dual-occupancy room rate for a total |
| 17 | | of at least $23.25, per Medicaid-occupied bed, in each |
