| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3771 on page 2, |
| 3 | | line 13, after the period, by inserting "Beginning with grants |
| 4 | | awarded for the 2025-2026 academic year, a grant under this |
| 5 | | Section may also be used at any private, not-for-profit |
| 6 | | college or university in this State that is approved to |
| 7 | | participate in the Monetary Award Program under Section 35 of |
| 8 | | this Act. A recipient attending such a private, not-for-profit |
| 9 | | college or university shall receive payment of tuition and |
| 10 | | mandatory fees in an amount not to exceed the maximum grant |
| 11 | | payable to a student enrolled in the most expensive comparable |
| 12 | | program of study at a public college or university in this |
| 13 | | State."; and |
| 14 | | on page 8, by replacing lines 18 through 24 with the following: |
