SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $6,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department on Aging for distribution to the Illinois Area Agencies on Aging to provide services as described under the Family Caregiver Act and in accordance with Part E of Title III of the Older Americans Act of 1965. Effective July 1, 2024.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $6,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department on Aging for distribution to the Illinois Area Agencies on Aging to provide services as described under Section 15 of the Family Caregiver Act and in accordance with Part E of Title III of the Older Americans Act of 1965 (Section 371 et seq. of the Older Americans Act of 1965, as amended).
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2024.
