SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Larry Peasley of Maroa, who passed 
4away on January 4, 2023; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Larry Peasley was born to Paul and Mary (Purlee) 
6Peasley in Lincoln on August 10, 1946; he married Janet Oakes 
7in Maroa on May 30, 1980; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Larry Peasley  served on the Maroa Fire Department 
9for 43 years; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Larry Peasley enjoyed watching Maroa-Forsyth 
11sports; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Larry Peasley was preceded in death by his 
13parents and his two brothers, James and Richard; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Larry Peasley is survived by his wife, Janet; his 
15children, J.D. (Tara) Peasley and Tim (Cailin) Peasley; and 
16his three grandchildren, Marina Rohman, Addelyn Peasley, and 
17Hayden Peasley; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Larry Peasley  and extend our sincere
condolences to his 
2family, friends, and all who knew and loved
him; and be it
