| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Martha G. Richmond of Hillsboro, who |
| 4 | | passed away on January 20, 2023 at the age of 90; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Martha Richmond was born in Waynesboro, |
| 6 | | Tennessee; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Martha Richmond was preceded in death by her |
| 8 | | parents, E. R. Davis and Ethel W. Davis; her husband, Carrol J. |
| 9 | | "C. J." Richmond; and her daughters, Peggy Sue Joyce (Morgan) |
| 10 | | and Laura Kay Moler (Richmond); and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Martha Richmond is survived by her children, |
| 12 | | Rebecca Ann Hartel (LeRoy), Lonnie Dane Morgan, Judy DeLane |
| 13 | | Goad (Charlie), Terry Lee Richmond (Tammy), and Betsy Jane |
| 14 | | Murphy (Don); her 12 grandchildren; her 13 |
| 15 | | great-grandchildren; and her 16 great-great-grandchildren; |
| 16 | | therefore, be it

| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL |
| 18 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
