SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Patricia "Patty" Sayad of Des Plaines, 
4who passed away on February 13, 2023; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Patty Sayad was born to Max and Eileen Gawenda in 
6Chicago on December 9, 1950; she married Richard Sayad; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Patty Sayad loved her family, friends, travel, 
8boating, and visiting new restaurants; she was the consummate 
9hostess, and her smile brightened every room she entered; she 
10will be remembered as an especially good and honest person who 
11was generous and kind; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Patty Sayad was preceded in death by her parents 
13and her niece, Katie Kelly; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Patty Sayad is survived by her husband; her son, 
15Scott (Laura) Sayad; her sister, Eileen (John) Kelly; her 
16nephew, Jack (Krissy) Kelly; her  cousins;  and her friends; 
17therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

20Patricia "Patty" Sayad and extend our sincere
condolences to
