| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Richard Chester "Rich" Adamczewski, |
| 4 | | who passed away on October 4, 2022 at the age of 76; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Rich Adamczewski was born on May 19, 1946 to the |
| 6 | | late Josephine and Chester Adamczewski and eventually moved to |
| 7 | | Forest Park; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Rich Adamczewski graduated from Lane Tech High |
| 9 | | School, the University of Illinois Chicago, and the Illinois |
| 10 | | Institute of Technology; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Rich Adamczewski was part of the Marine Corps |
| 12 | | Reserve and worked on the Friends of the Oak Park Library Book |
| 13 | | Fair; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Rich Adamczewski enjoyed playing handball and |
| 15 | | volleyball, running, reading, and traveling and was an active |
| 16 | | member of Ascension Catholic Church and Saint Bernardine |
| 17 | | Church; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Rich Adamczewski is survived by his wife, Doris |
| 19 | | Ann (Racansky); his children, Jonathan, Kristina, and Andrew; |
| 20 | | and his sister, Alicia; therefore, be it
