SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Linda M. Craig of East Peoria, who 
4passed away on May 30, 2023; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Linda Craig was born in Peoria to James W. and 
6Florence B. Parks Craig on July 10, 1949; she graduated from 
7the Academy of Our Lady High School and received her degree 
8from Illinois Central College; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Linda Craig worked as a data technician for 
10Ameritech for 30 years and later as an instructor for the 
11American Red Cross; and
  
 
  
12    WHEREAS, Linda Craig was preceded in death by her parents 
13and her brother, Mark; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Linda Craig is survived by her sons, Scot 
15(Brenda) Craig and Josh Alexander; several grandchildren and 
16great-grandchildren; and eight brothers and sisters; 
17therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20Linda M. Craig and extend our sincere condolences to her

1family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
2further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
4presented to  the family of  Linda Craig as an expression of our
