SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Emma Jewel Reardon of Alsey, who 
4passed away on July 10, 2023; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Emma Reardon was born to Justin Reardon and 
6Amanda Sleek in Jacksonville on October 21, 2014; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Emma Reardon was a joyful little girl who enjoyed 
8playing Uno with her father and grandmother and playing 
9Pokemon with her brother; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Emma Reardon loved doing cartwheels, being at 
11school with her friends and teacher, playing in the pool with 
12her brother, nephew, and friends, and dressing up as a 
13princess; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Emma Reardon is survived by her parents; her  
15sisters, Mallori (Morgan) Riech and Madison Thomas-Reardon; 
16her brother, Gavin Marcum; her paternal grandparents, James 
17and Carla Reardon; her maternal grandparents, Jerry Marcum and 
18Carole Lance; her nephew, Bextyn Riech; and her niece, 
19Kalannah Collins; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
