| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Linka M. Jones of Park Ridge, who |
| 4 | | passed away on July 26, 2023; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Linka Jones was the wife of Roger A. Jones for 55 |
| 6 | | years; the mother of Kimberly Jones, Mark Jones, and Mary Jo |
| 7 | | (Jones) Marchetta; the grandmother of Christina Jones, Daniel |
| 8 | | Jones, Jonathan Jones, and Michaelene Marchetta; the sister of |
| 9 | | the late Paul Kirst; and the aunt, cousin, and friend to many; |
| 10 | | therefore, be it
|
| 11 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL |
| 12 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
