SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Jean Wilson Muscadin, M.D., who passed 
4away on September 22, 2023; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Dr. Muscadin was born in the Dondon province of 
6Northern Haiti on September 16, 1945; he graduated from 
7Universite D'Etat D'Haiti, Faculte De Medecine in 1974; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Dr. Muscadin served as a pediatrician to the 
9children of Chicago for over 40 years; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Dr. Muscadin possessed a lifelong passion for 
11travel, soccer, and tennis and a love for learning and 
12reading; he loved sharing his passions with anyone who would 
13listen; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Dr. Muscadin will be remembered for touching the 
15lives of many throughout his life as a son, a father, a 
16grandfather, a pediatrician, and a philanthropist; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Dr. Muscadin is survived by his wife of 51 years, 
18Marie; his children, Farah and Wilson Jr.; and his 
19grandchildren, Alexander, Jeremy, and Henri; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Jean Wilson Muscadin, M.D. and extend our sincere condolences 
4to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be 
5it further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Dr. Muscadin as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
