| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of James "Jim" Feehan of Silvis, who |
| 4 | | passed away on December 22, 2023; and |
| 5 | | WHEREAS, James Feehan was born in East Moline on December |
| 6 | | 7, 1934, the child of William and Josephine (Scieszinski) |
| 7 | | Feehan; he graduated from United Township High School and |
| 8 | | enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps; he married Nancy Lee Andon |
| 9 | | at St. Anne Catholic Church in East Moline; and |
| 10 | | WHEREAS, James Feehan worked for The East Moline Herald |
| 11 | | and retired from the John Deere Foundry; and |
| 12 | | WHEREAS, James Feehan was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears |
| 13 | | and the Chicago Cubs; he enjoyed playing cards and visiting |
| 14 | | friends at the Little Brown Jug and the Eagles Club in Carbon |
| 15 | | Cliff; and |
| 16 | | WHEREAS, James Feehan was preceded in death by his parents |
| 17 | | and his siblings, Bill (Dorothy) Feehan, MaryJo (Don) Ziegler, |
| 18 | | and Patty (John) Hornick; and |
| 19 | | WHEREAS, James Feehan is survived by his children, James |
| 20 | | (Kyle) Feehan, Julie (Larry) Tate, Jana (Tom) Sabel, |
