| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Johnny Lowell Lasley of Moline, who |
| 4 | | passed away on February 8, 2024; and |
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Johnny Lasley was born to William Henry and |
| 6 | | Louisa (Wickham) Lasley in Ullin on July 15, 1929; he served in |
| 7 | | the U.S. Navy Reserve for 20 years; he married Joann Sacco in |
| 8 | | Moline on November 28, 1953; and |
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Johnny Lasley worked as an accountant at Tri-City |
| 10 | | Blue Print Company for over 30 years, retiring in 1981; and |
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Johnny Lasley was a member of Faith Lutheran |
| 12 | | Church in Moline for 70 years; and |
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Johnny Lasley loved being with his family; he |
| 14 | | enjoyed doing yard work, playing dominoes, and eating Whitey's |
| 15 | | Ice Cream; and |
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Johnny Lasley is survived by his wife of 70 |
| 17 | | years, Joann; his children, John (Karen) Lasley, Duane |
| 18 | | (Catherine) Lasley, and Angela (Steven) Bean; six |
| 19 | | grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; therefore, be it |
