SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 
3congratulate the Illinois Area Agencies on Aging on the 
4occasion of its 50 years of service; and
 
5    WHEREAS, The State of Illinois has a long and cherished 
6history of caring for its older adults while recognizing their 
7wisdom, experience, and contributions to our communities; and
 
8    WHEREAS, For five decades, the Illinois Area Agencies on 
9Aging have been unwavering advocates of our senior citizens, 
10providing vital support, guidance, and resources to help them 
11age well and maintain their independence; and
 
12    WHEREAS, The Illinois Area Agencies on Aging have been 
13both pillars of support for older adults and engines of 
14transformation, evolving and adapting to meet the 
15ever-changing needs of our aging population, ensuring that 
16they continue to lead lives of vitality, fulfillment, and 
17purpose; and
 
18    WHEREAS, The Illinois Area Agencies on Aging's 50-year 
19anniversary marks a half century of dedication, innovation, 
20and service provided by its 13 area agencies across our State; 
21therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the 
3Illinois Area Agencies on Aging for its 50 years of service; 
4and be it further
 
5    RESOLVED, That we encourage all Illinois residents to 
6recognize the invaluable contributions the Illinois Area 
7Agencies on Aging have made to our State's senior citizens.
