| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of Detarius LaTrave're Haynes, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on April 16, 2024; and | ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Detarius Haynes, the son of Latonya Henley and | ||||||
| 6 | David Haynes, was born in Springfield on December 19, 1997; | ||||||
| 7 | and | ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, With dedication and skill, Detarius Haynes served | ||||||
| 9 | as a valued employee at Paula Products Company and excelled as | ||||||
| 10 | a manager at Burger King; and | ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Detarius Haynes committed to his faith at an | ||||||
| 12 | early age, and he was a member of Emanuel Temple Church of God | ||||||
| 13 | in Christ in Springfield; and | ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Detarius Haynes was a beacon of love and | ||||||
| 15 | kindness; he will be remembered for his warmth, laughter, and | ||||||
| 16 | unwavering love for his family and community; and | ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Detarius Haynes was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 18 | grandfather, Jimmie Bates; his aunt, Carolyn Pearson; his | ||||||
| 19 | cousins, Demiyah Bates and Landis Bates; and his aunt and | ||||||
| 20 | uncle, Sharon and Harold Haynes; and | ||||||

| 1 | WHEREAS, Detarius Haynes is survived by his son, Sonny | ||||||
| 2 | Abel Haynes; his daughters, Glory Christina Haynes and Niamaya | ||||||
| 3 | Jones; his mother, Latonya (Antonio) Henley; his father, David | ||||||
| 4 | (Veronica) Haynes; his father, La'Ron (Cindy) Williams Sr.; | ||||||
| 5 | his siblings, La'Ron Williams Jr., LeBron Williams, Lamonte | ||||||
| 6 | Henley, Justin (Sheridan) Moore, Davontae Haynes, DaKiya | ||||||
| 7 | Haynes, Decara Haynes, Daytoria Bates, Brina Williams, Lanyia | ||||||
| 8 | Williams, and Ronlaya Medley; his grandmothers, Christina | ||||||

| 11 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL | ||||||
| 12 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 13 | Detarius LaTrave're Haynes and extend our sincere condolences | ||||||
| 14 | to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be | ||||||
