| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to |
| 3 | | congratulate the Washington Middle School boys relay team, the |
| 4 | | Warriors, on its success at the 2024 Illinois Elementary |
| 5 | | School Association Class 4A State Track & Field Championships; |
| 6 | | and

| 7 | | WHEREAS, The Warriors won the Mens 4A 7th Grade 4x200 |
| 8 | | Relay with a time of 1:41.68a, setting a new state record; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, The Warriors also won the Mens 4A 7th Grade 4x400 |
| 10 | | Relay with a time of 3:52.65a; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, The Warriors are led by Head Coach Charles Ruble; |
| 12 | | and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Warriors relay team are |
| 14 | | Jeremiah Williams, Amani Wright, James Houlihan, Kevron House, |
| 15 | | Kolade Abitogun, Bryson Tate, and Kamden Ray; therefore, be it

| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL |
| 17 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the |
