SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Margaret M. Tiritilli of Chicago, who 
4passed away on May 20, 2024; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Margaret Tiritilli was born on July 24, 1953; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Margaret Tiritilli was a co-founder and the first 
7president of the Greater Independence Park Neighborhood 
8Association (GIPNA), an organization dedicated to maintaining 
9and enhancing the quality of life in the Independence Park 
10community by involving, informing, and encouraging people to 
11participate in matters relating to the community and by 
12protecting the historical, social, cultural, and architectural 
13character of the neighborhood located on Chicago's Northwest 
14Side; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Margaret Tiritilli was the wife of Jerry 
16Tiritilli for 45 years, the mother of Lizzy (Chris) Tiritilli, 
17the sister of Sue Lebak and Mike (Cindy) Lebak, and the aunt of 
18Megan Williams and Josh Lebak; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
21Margaret M. Tiritilli and extend our sincere condolences to

3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
4presented to the family of Margaret Tiritilli as an expression
